Sweet Job – Product Promotion Coordinator

Offering more than 6,000 confectionery items, we feature an extensive range of candy, snacks and glass bottle soda. We proudly supply thousands of gourmet food stores, candy stores, florists, gift shops, and many other retail outlets throughout the United States, as well as internationally.

The Product Promotion Coordinator is a member our Purchasing team. It is a behind-the-scenes position that makes the product move. S/he must be detailed oriented to manage the intake and inventory of product samples, but also bring a creative eye to visually promote the product through pictures on our website and internal catalog. Finally, s/he will be tasked with maintaining Redstone Foods’ 3000 sq. ft. show room that displays all aspects of our 6500 confectionery items. When s/he is not focused on promoting the product, s/he will work with Customer Service in a variety of ways including but not limited to entering customer orders through our internal system.

This position will include but is not limited to the following:

• Receive, catalog, and distribute product samples in a warehouse setting
• Edit or source photos to be uploaded onto our website
• Update product catalogs with new images
• Maintain showroom on a weekly basis to update products, create holiday displays, and general upkeep
• Communicate with vendors to request images, samples, and product descriptions
• Assist customers by processing orders, order changes, and returns while following company protocol and procedures
• Help improve current processes to be more efficient as the company grows

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Photoshop is a MUST to edit photos
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word products
• Stellar organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask in a demanding environment
• Experience working in small teams on joint projects
• Ability to lift 15-30lb. cases and organize pallets of samples
• Ability to manage many tasks in a fun, fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Experience with merchandising or creating displays is a plus but not required
• This position cannot be performed remotely
• Accurate Keyboard/10-Key use for data entry
• Ability to type 40 wpm
• Present a professional appearance in business casual attire (blouses/shirt, slacks, dresses/skirts, dress shoes) Monday through Thursday. Jeans are allowed on Fridays.
