We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join a high volume, modern, food processing facility in the West Coast of Donegal.

Full time, permanent role with an excellent salary plus pension contributions

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Sales & Operations Director,the production manager will be responsible for monitoring the production process which entails a range of production oversight, planning and scheduling activities.
• The goal will be to optimise performance, productivity, efficiency, and economy.
• Other duties include the development of cost-effective measures with the aim of achieving exceptional business practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and food safety standards.
• Training & upskilling of all employees.
• Must be responsible, energetic, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Skills / Experience Required:

• Qualification in Manufacturing / Production / Operations.
• High degree of computer literacy and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good experience of technical software.
• Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar role as a Production Manager or a related role in the food industry.
• Flexibility and ability to manage change in a fast-moving and exciting business environment.
• Willingness to contribute during periods of concentrated production activity.
