General Summary
The Production Associate assigned to Duralam works with multiple raw materials to produce, trim, and package products required to finish kitchen cabinets.
Production Associate Primary Responsibilities
- Read and follow work orders.
- Measure product and cut to order size with table saw.
- Trim laminate using utility knife.
- Identifies defects and next steps when found.
- Package finished vinyl.
- Transport finished goods to holding area or Shipping Department using a forklift.
- Perform work in a safe manner following work instructions.
- Work closely with Scheduler and operations on daily schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Production Associate Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to effectively use tools such as: tape measures, utility knife, table saw, etc.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Must be responsible, dependable, honest, and ethical.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to problem solve.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Customer service driven to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Safety minded.
