YOUR ROLE

  • Provides financial support for engineering/facilities department & project level, monitoring spend versus budget
  • Preparation of accruals list for management accounts at month end
  • Provide weekly/ monthly KPI reports to management
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to accounts payable ledger & Resolving outstanding inaccuracies/discrepancies with supplier statements.
  • Review of open purchase orders and goods receipted not invoiced lists to identify issues.
  • Keep engineering procedures updated on himdoc system
  • Ensure Engineering training schedules and competency matrix is properly maintained and up to date
  • Monitor time & attendance records for engineering/facilities dept
  • Prepare briefing documents as needed
  • Assist the Finance team with the Month End process
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

YOUR SKILLS

  • A third level relevant qualification in Business, Administration, Finance or Accounts is an advantage
  • SAP skills would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
  • The role requires a highly self-motivated, dedicated and practical person who possesses a broad range of people and organisational skills
  • Excellent digital skills are required, including MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Confident self-starter, able to work proactively and multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Confidence in decision making and prioritisation of tasks
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
