Job description

• Coordinate JDSAC DFCSP services and activities.
• Convene JDSAC and related committee meetings, engaging sector representatives, youth, and other community stakeholders.
• Conduct outreach to the Jeff Davis community as it relates to identifying the youth substance abuse prevention and collaboration needs of the community and
• Develop information, workshops, and other educational programs that respond to those needs.
• Facilitate the Strategic Prevention Framework with coalition members to enable ongoing strategic planning.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to keep the community informed about needs, initiatives, and progress towards outcomes.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive evaluation plan to compile and track data and other information for process and outcome evaluation reports to assess project goals and outcomes.
• Identity community resources, organizations, grants, and other program opportunities related to services that would further JDSACs mission and increase sustainability of prevention strategies.
• Represent the coalition at meetings with external partners and stakeholders to expand collaboration, broaden community partnerships, and increase awareness of JDSAC in the general Jeff Davis community.
• Implement community-level change strategies that address factors that put youth at risk for substance abuse, including alcohol, tobacco, and prescription drugs, and increase access to protective factors that reduce or buffer risk factors in the Jeff Davis community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.85 per hour
