POSITION SUMMARY:
Infinity, a division of Mobile Communications America, Inc., is seeking a Project Coordinator at our Mooresville, NC office. Infinity Technology Solutions is a provider in full service wireless solutions, primarily utilizing the latest microwave technology from Nokia. In addition, Infinity Technology provides engineering and project management services for state, local, and federal governments, utility providers, hospitals, and industrial and commercial customers utilizing the latest technology from such premier brands as Motorola, RFS, and Nokia, among others.
RESPONSIBILIITES:
- Works with Sales, Project Managers and business development for smooth transition of contacts, agreements, and expectations for major projects from pre-sale to post sale.
- Assist with proposal and quote development.
- Collect all information for new customers and initiates set up in ERP system, also monitor current customer credit limits and request changes when necessary.
- Receives, checks for accuracy, and enters all customer purchase orders and specific billing requirements into ERP system.
- Works with vendors to optimize the execution of their services; keeps track of vendor contractual obligations in a timely manner including receipts of shipments/invoices and initiating payment.
- Enter and order all vendor purchase orders for projects and distribution purchases.
- Track and escalate, when necessary, all vendor orders for project and distribution purchases.
- Maintain accurate reporting and records
- Initiates, analyzes, and compares written quotes from vendors; selects providers based on lead times and cost effectiveness.
- Works with project manager on project milestones and invoices customer accordingly.
- Invoices distribution customers
- Coordinates with project manager to ensure the completion of project-specific requirements.
- Sets up, monitors, and maintains accurate information and updates all pertinent data in appropriate project databases such as faculty, program(s), and budget information.
- Monitors cost and revenue throughout the life of the project and addresses discrepancies with the Project Manager.
- Monitor AR for assigned customers and follow up on late/past due payments
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree Preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with ordering and inventory control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. Power Point &Access.
- Previous ERP or procurement experience preferred
- Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
- Ability to succeed in an often fast-paced environment, establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Proven track record of reliability and responsibility.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a demanding, results driven environment.
- Detail oriented.
- High level of integrity.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear, utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend / descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
