C&A Tool a leading manufacturer since 1969 of precision products for the aerospace, industrial and medical device markets is currently seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager-Aerospace Business Unit. Operating three manufacturing facilities in Northeast Indiana (Auburn / Churubusco) and employing nearly 600 skilled workers, we are an integral part of a larger global manufacturing conglomerate, MinebeaMitsumi.

Compensation: $50K - $80K Depending on Experience and or Degree/Formal Training

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Understand fundamental workings between; Lathe’s, Mills (3 & 5 Axis) Grinding (ID, OD, Flat) , EDM (conventional/wire).
• Have the capability to read and understand a blueprint including GD&T.
• Able to study a drawing and devise the best approach to manufacture said parts in the most effective and efficient manor, this would also include needed outside services such as heat treat and or plating.
• Ability to and/or can learn how to quote many different parts.
• Communicate with co-workers and customers about the parts being quoted or manufactured.
• Troubleshoot different problems that will arise in this environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge base and be able to work in a team environment to develop new practices.
• Manage multiple jobs at once and must be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Have the ability to use a PC including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Occasional travel may also be required.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

• Preferred a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the machining industry.
• Should have a general familiarity of various material types from; stainless steel to super alloys such as Inconel and how they machine.
• Have a general understanding of quality requirements such as PPAP’s, FAI’s & FEMA’s.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
