Job Description

A large Insurance client has an opening for a Project Manager to lead overall Process Optimisation and to act as a change agent for ongoing transformation.

Your role will involve project both project and change management as well as supporting others within the business to build their project management skills and capabilities to enable a distributed approach to innovation, improvement and change across all business areas.

Understand the business requirements and develop clear and well-constructed project plans / schedules across each stage of the project life cycle.

Play a lead role in project planning sessions, secure buy-in from all key stakeholders at the initiation stage in facilitating identification of, and agreement on, project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Champion a coordinated and consistent approach to the identification, analysis & evaluation, planning, and delivery of agreed projects across all IPB business areas.

Act as a Change Agent across the business, develop and articulate a compelling “case for change” and engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to seek support for delivery of that change in the short, medium, and long term.

Engage with stakeholders from across the business daily, to maintain support for and engagement with projects and change initiatives whilst also identifying solutions to challenges that arise.

Support the business to identify, quantify and realise opportunities to drive process optimisation and efficiency with a focus on simplicity, timeliness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements for this Role

• Possess key skills relating to project management, change and stakeholder management ideally with experience in insurance or financial services in Ireland or internationally.

• Process optimisation expertise, through a recognised qualification or “on the job” experience is essential.

• Analytical and decisive, with the ability to prioritise and communicate key objectives to achieve organisational goals whilst building consensus and support across the business.
