We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager with experience of the healthcare industry for the Grant Thornton
Business Consulting
team, within the advisory consulting practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ambitious and motivated person to join our Business Consulting team. If successful, you will conduct work in areas such as strategic planning, organisation review and design, business process improvement, operations excellence, project and change management, within the healthcare sector.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage business transformation projects in the following areas:

programme and project management;
-
business process improvement (including Lean);
-
strategy review and planning;
-
capacity and demand reviews;
-
organisation structure review and design;
-
change management; and
-
working onsite with clients implementing programmes of change, including but not limited to:
-
assisting with the development of strategies and undertaking strategic reviews;
-
driving best practice in operational excellence in healthcare;
-
providing project management and Quality Improvement support to large healthcare organisations;
-
providing industry insights and subject matter advise to clients and colleagues; and preparing formal reports and report presentations.

Required skills/attributes
-
prior consulting experience in a professional services environment, or significant project management experience in a healthcare environment;
-
a minimum of 2 - 5 years health sector experience;
-
appropriate health or business qualification with strong academic record;
-
strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical; and
-
ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
