General position details:

Sacred Space Gardens is a sustainable gardening company in the Twin Cities metro. We focus on planting native plants to support biodiversity and clean water. It is our mission to increase wildlife habitat in the urban enviornment.

This is a full-time, hourly, seasonal position from early-March through mid-November. Specific start and end dates are subject to change based on seasonal conditions. Applicants may expect to work 35-40 hours per week.

Project Manager reports to the Office Manager. The Project Manager oversees and directs the site leaders, as well as all gardeners.

The primary objective of this position is to plan all details of each gardening project so that the teams completing the work have clear directions, supplies, materials and tools.

Job Duties Include:

• Communicating and planning each garden project
• Making sure they crews have the appropriate gardening tools and materials
• Ensuring the plants, mulch, or any materials needed for the project have been ordered at least 1 week prior
• Performing estimates with our clients
• Client Communication via phone, email, text and in person
• Directing site leaders on how to complete tasks
• Planning the schedule, assigning each project to the appropriate gardeners
• Helping on-site if needed
• Coordinating the schedule with the Office Manager
• Directing the office manager when the schedule needs adjustments
• Ensuring client satisfaction
• Coordinating the planter scheduling and assigning of gardeners with the Administrator
• Occasionally driving the company vehicle
• Occasionally picking up supplies at the nursery or garden supply store

Requirements Include:

• Reliable vehicle to drive to and from job sites. Most sites are in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in the heat for multiple hours.
• 2+ years of hands-on gardening experience.
• Highly Organized.
• Good time management skills.
• Wear a branded Sacred Space Gardens t-shirt, jacket or hat when on the job site.
• Have a strong knowledge of perennials, native plants, and invasive species.

Pay: Starts at $20.00/hr; benefits are not included at this time.
