This position is responsible for researching, developing, and recommending Health and Human Service reform initiatives. The position will report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer.
The position will focus on the implementation of human service reform initiatives, policy options, and proposed legislation. The position will analyze the initiative, policy option or proposed legislation for state and federal regulatory conformance, implementation feasibility and desired outcomes. This position will be responsible for tracking the progress and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be outlined as part of the job offer and must adhere to state policy.

- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health care, human services, business, or public administration.
- Four years’ experience in health insurance, Medicaid, or health care programs. Must include technical writing experience with state plan amendments, waivers, program policy or similar documents and experience interpreting state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Experience with Medicaid or CHIP programs, rules and regulations are preferred.
