Qualifications or Skills:

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to speak, read & write in English
• Ability to follow work rules and enforce them
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
• Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques, and equipment
• Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Process Writing, Gauges, Calibration
• Computer skills: Microsoft Works, Excel, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Drop task
• Must be able to work under pressure, communicate properly, receive direction and follow-through, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Duties:

• Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved for customer requirements.
• Plan, assign, and training work of subordinates.
• Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
• Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
• Responsible for compilation and maintenance of work instructions, inspection reports and records.
• Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
• Maintain discipline, morale and harmonious relations among subordinates in a fast-past environment.
• PPE must be worn
• Maintain and ensure professional and effective communication with all on-site customers with regards to all quality issues are being met.
• Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
• Required participation in daily/weekly team updates
• Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Comply with OSHA requirements

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

● Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

● Ability to stand, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
