This position is responsible for inspecting and receiving all inbound deliveries. Delivering materials to appropriate departments according to approved standing operating procedures “SOP’s”. This position is also responsible for processing purchase orders into an ERP system and properly storing products in stockrooms and warehouse. This job regularly collaborates with other teams and requires a passion for warehousing and inventory.

• Performing receiving inspections
• Distribution of raw materials, lab supplies, equipment, and other received items
• Follows MDSAP, ISO 9001 and ISO13485 procedures and company policies
• Organizing and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse
• Monitoring warehouse supplies and stock rooms
• Obeying all safety/health regulations including personal protection equipment “PPE”
• Able to perform NAV/ERP entries
• Able to perform inventory cycle counts
• Able to track documents and maintain logs
• Perform daily 5S tasks

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs.
• Working in a warehouse setting at least 1 year

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

• Experience working in Biotechnology industry
• Working in a warehouse setting more than a year
• Ability to operate a forklift

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work at BioLegend in San Diego, California is $18-23/hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. BioLegend is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Work Environment & Physical Demands - Warehouse

80% in a warehouse enclosed setting, some outdoor activity when receiving or distributing between buildings. 20% in a lab setting while maintaining proper PPE when delivering materials. Exposure to -20c freezer rooms, 4c -8c cold rooms, fumes, and chemicals. Equipment used for this job setting is an OSHA approved industrial forklift, Electric pallet jacks, and push carts. Physical task will be pushing, lifting, bending, walking, reaching, climbing stairs.
