Job Purpose

CareChoice Ballynoe are now welcoming applications for part-time / relief Receptionist role to cover every second weekend - Saturday & Sunday and annual leave. The Receptionist would be working with all departments and providing the best possible customer care and administrative support. Providing a friendly environment where queries are handled professionally and with confidentiality.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation of the switchboard and redirect calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintaining an organized. neat and tidy desk
• Providing secretarial support for managers where needed
• Proficient use of word, email, internet, excel, power point, photocopier, franking machine, fax machine and other office equipment.
• Completing all the paperwork involved in admitting and discharging Residents
• Imputing residents details files to ensure all are up to date
• Receiving and recording cash receipts. Issuing receipts to customers
• Coordinating incoming and out coming mail
• Refer any queries regarding bed vacancies to the relevant manager
• Filing residents details and archiving old files
• Ordering any supplies using the Company purchasing system
• Co-ordinate complaints handling and compliance with Complaints policy

Person Specification Requirements:

• Knowledge of IT skills
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Adaptable.
