Job description

Summary: The Reclaim Specialist is responsible for working as part of a team with both skilled and unskilled individuals under the direction of the ReClaim Supervisor to reclaim materials from jobsites, routinely collaborating with volunteers to complete all related tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Helps ensure quality control and safety on job sites

· Communicates with ReClaim Supervisor about daily tasks

· Maintenance, proper control, storage, security, and organization of vehicles, trailers, and tools

· Organizes tools and materials before and after workdays and completes general housekeeping, recycling, and storage throughout the day.

· Safely remove approved items from ReClaim jobsites

· Responsible for a clean and orderly jobsite appearance

· Maintain an inventory of all tools and equipment

· Knowledge of recycling materials from job sites

· Maintain accurate inventory of all items salvaged from each project

· Prep, load and unload reclaimed items from job site to be sold/reused

Requirements

· Ability to effectively communicate with people from different and diverse backgrounds; must be able to develop a good rapport with volunteers, subcontractors, property owners, and other community partners.

· Valid Driver’s License, ability to drive affiliate vehicle(s), and insurable under affiliate driver’s policy.

· Ability to climb ladders, use and demonstrate use of construction and power equipment.

· Able to life 50 lbs. frequently, and 80 lbs. occasionally.

· Independent (able to work productively with little supervision)

· Wear weather and jobsite appropriate clothing

· Will need to wear PPE including safety gear as needed (Closed toe shoes, Hard hat when needed, Safety glasses when needed, Gloves, Face mask/respirator when needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.25 per hour
