We are looking for an energetic professional with outstanding analytical capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail to join our high performing team. As a Regional Underwriting Lead in the Americas Office of the CUO, you will play a critical role in planning, developing, and driving strategic underwriting priorities and initiatives for the launch of our new Middle Market operation in the Americas Region. As a member of the team, you will employ your keen organizational and analytical skills to provide leadership, analyses, insights and strategic guidance. The team works closely with the Underwriting teams and colleagues from across AXA XL to identify and evaluate underwriting opportunities; set, refine, and implement America Insurance’s strategic direction; and support our businesses leaders.

Your outstanding interpersonal skills will enable you to build outstanding relationships and successfully interact with business leaders and stakeholders at all levels within the organization. This is a highly visible role that will give you exposure to key business leaders across the organization and will provide you with a broad perspective of the Americas Region.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Assist with the build and launch of a new Middle Market operation in the Americas region including ownership of plan workstreams and working cross-functionally on new capabilities specific to Middle Market.
• Help to formulate, support and execute on strategic initiatives which generate profitable growth for the Middle Market operation in the Americas region.
• Work closely with Middle Market and Business Unit Leaders and their teams to develop, execute and monitor operational plans which support their financial plans.
• Develop and implement underwriting cadences and best practices within and across the business units in the Americas region.
• Analyze and coordinate underwriting requests from AXA Group, Business Partners, and the GCUO office, and liaise with necessary stakeholders.
• Analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources in support of business unit and regional goals with minimal oversight.
• Participate in and contribute to work efforts to identify and develop new strategic opportunities and objectives.
• Design and develop materials for various initiatives, projects and meetings with minimal oversight.
• Assuming other responsibilities as determined.

• Minimum of a four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

The pay range for this position is $75,500-149,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
