Responsibilities

Cares for patients postoperatively and prepares patients for discharge. Verifies medication reconciliation with the patient and provides discharge instructions to responsible adult. Responsible for conducting business and patient care activities consistent with the Center’s policies/procedures for Patients’ Rights and Responsibilities without discriminating against the individual because of sex, age, race, or religion, or any other potentially discriminating factor. Also, for the discrete and confidential handling of all patient information, whether written or spoken, and to be ever vigilant and sensitive to where and how any patient information is shared.

Salary Range: $78,458 – $96,928 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: RN required education

Preferred: BSN preferred

Experience

Required: 2 years RN experience in PACU,

SICU, or CV ICU, recovering post-surgical patients.

Preferred: Ambulatory Surgery Center setting

License(s)

Required: RN, CPR, ACLS, PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Preferred: PALS

Specialty certified: CPAN, CAPA,

Required: Basic computer skills

Required: Clear communication skills
