FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Relief Veterinarian (small animal) in a privately owned, well established veterinary hospital. We pride ourselves on high quality medicine with a family feel. Associate has 4-day work week plus every other Saturday morning (9am-1pm). We have a well-equipped surgical unit, in house labs and digital x-ray. We offer laser surgery, orthopedic surgery, including bone plating of fractures and TPLO surgery, cool laser therapy for pain management and healing, ultrasound and a full dental suite with digital dental radiography. We are well supported by experienced veterinary assistants. Experience preferred.
ABOUT LITHONIA ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Lithonia Animal Hospital, PC was established in 1972 by Edward Ray Wright, a graduate of the University of Georgia Veterinary School. The hospital is a full service animal hospital that provides exceptional veterinary care to small and large animals. It is located just east of Atlanta, Ga. We offer the full spectrum of preventive care, advanced care and emergency care.
We have modern equipment as previously stated that allows us to provide a full range of medical services including physical exams, soft-tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, oral surgery, preventative dental care, spay/neuter, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, health certificates for travel, microchipping, nutritional counseling, hospice/euthanasia, radiology, reproductive services, surgical inseminations, C-sections, preparations for animals traveling abroad. We take every step to give pets the best possible care and to provide our help and services to the clients. It is a compliment to our staff that we have many clients who travel great distances to come to us.

Holds current Georgia DVM licensure in good standing
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university
