Complete Description:

• Pls note: Mostly remote. They need to be in the office as needed but not routinely.
• Client PMD Certification REQUIRED to be considered.
• Excepted duration will be at least a 16 month engagement, end date is excepted to be the end of fiscal year 2024 (6/10/2024). There will also be a possibility to extend beyond to manage the actual project. Majority is remote but the candidate must be available to come on site as needed with advance notice, preference local or less than 3 hours from Richmond.
• Help lead the RFP process and then the Practice Management (AVATAR) System Replacement Project. This will be extended all of next year (6/11/2023-6/10/2024) and possibly longer once RFP is complete.
• The Client Practice Management System Replacement Project is an initial step in fulfilling a key result within the Client strategic plan, which aims to improve financials and operations for all facilities through the enhancement of critical processes which will enable reimbursements to increase across facilities. This position will be the project manager for the Practice Management System Replacement project, assisting in the procurement process with RFP development, performing necessary Client procurement activities, preparing for evaluating proposals, and mitigating the risk of procurement activities slipping schedule during RFP and implementation steps. The candidate will coordinate extensively with Client and partner stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and collect and analyze data. The candidate will be responsible for following the Client and state requirements for soliciting RFPs.
• Require qualifications as required by Client and experience working with the Client.
• Experience working with Client IT system replacement and/or practice management systems preferred.
• Experience with Avatar, other practice management or revenue cycle systems, data management and Health IT projects is highly desirable.

• Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

• Sr level PM experience Required 10 Years

• Experience with the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process Required 10 Years

• Active PMP Certification Required

• Client PMD Certification REQUIRED to be considered. Pls upload copy under Reference TAB Required
