Position Summary:

This is a key position for the US Market. The position reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts and is to work in close coordination with the sales organization leadership and Regional Sales Managers as well as other field professionals to maximize sales opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and drive all VA business including, sales, regulatory, marketing, KOL management, channels and other partners, registrations and new product introductions nationally.

  • Maximizing existing VA accounts and cultivate opportunities within legacy and prospective accounts.

  • Along with the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, develop and implement effective VA sales strategies.

  • Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regions regarding VA.

  • Build out long-term VA relationships.

  • Negotiate purchase agreements with the assistance of Hospital Account Managers

  • Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead nationwide direct sales personnel (sales and clinical education staff) toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.

  • Develop and inspire RSM’s and CSS to be a part of VA projects and sales.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.

  • Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.

  • Consistently increase bid opportunities

  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.

  • Stay current and focused with new ZOLL Itamar product launches, competition and ensure sales team members are on board.

  • Submit all required reports on a timely basis.

  • Partner with a variety of customer contacts, including physicians, clinical staff, nursing, department managers, and procurement staff to drive utilization of ZOLL Itamar products and services and discover new opportunities for product expansion, thereby maintaining and constantly improving our competitive position.

  • Achieving sales of all applicable disposable products and services in your territory

  • Assisting in advancing revenue and market position consistent with Company goals

  • Growing and maintaining revenue volume in existing accounts.

  • Conducting sales presentations for new and existing customers, as necessary.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Successful proven track record with sales projects, assignments and providing clinical and relationship management support to physicians and staff.

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Exercise Physiology or Nursing.

  • Minimum of 3 (three) years’ work experience in medical device sales or related field; Cardiovascular, Sleep or Pharma preferred.

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.

  • Outstanding ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Experience leading national change initiatives.

  • Proven strategic, analytical and implementation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

  • Experience working with VA hospitals and the VA System and/or large managed care organizations.

  • Ability to make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness.

  • Ability to innovate and creatively develop new solutions to current and future business challenges.

  • Travel is required.

  • Two years minimum of CRM or Salesforce.

  • Ability to work well with other team members and leverage human talent as a force multiplier for the overall success of the Team and achievement of company objectives.

  • Excellent people skills; likeable, motivational, humble and genuine.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
