K-8 SELC School Psychologist/Counselor, ESY Program (GRANT)

POSITION OVERVIEW

To plan and provide instruction/counseling to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Collaboration with site coordinator
• Planning for instruction/counseling of students to maintain skills, information, or behaviors per IEP
• Daily community and employment-based travel with students
• Supervision of paraprofessionals
• Coordination of related service support
• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers

QUALIFICATIONS-REQUIRED

• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
• Mass DESE Licensure

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED

• Experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs

SCHEDULE

• Hours, sites, and schedule are dependent on caseload
• ESY runs July 10 - Aug 10, 2023, 8:45am - 11:15pm (includes planning time), Monday -Thursday
• One additional day of training prior to start of program
