Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of EMEA Corporate Accounting close processes in multiple legal entities. This will include the preparation and review of journals, analytical review of monthly results and account reconciliations.
• Prepare ad-hoc intercompany transactions; effective tracking of monthly intercompany payables/receivables issues and driving resolution of same on a priority basis.
• VAT compliance and reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Lease accounting
• Fixed Assets Management; capitalization, monthly depreciation, disposal/ transfer of assets.
• R&D / Internal software development capitalization
• Lead and assist in preparing audit schedules, providing data to auditors, and coordinating with auditors to resolve their queries.
• Work closely with the US finance team as well as the FP&A team to enhance reliability, accuracy, relevance and timelines of group reporting.
• Assist in implementing new accounting policies, controls and procedures.
• Ad hoc accounting requests and projects as needed.

Required Skills:

• Certified / Chartered Qualified Accountant
• 3+ years general accounting experience within a multinational environment preferable.
• Strong verbal and written skills along with solid interpersonal skills.
• Some experience in an EMEA finance context, scale-up, or multinational environment is highly preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and experience with Netsuite, Coupa and other cloud-based ERP solutions is a plus.
• Navigates and communicates effortlessly in a cross-functional and multicultural environment

• Fluent in spoken and written English. European language skills – not required but a bonus.
