Responsibilities:

Promote the agile mindset and help to build the agile adoption and capabilities in the organization. Anchor the agile coach team within the chapter lead and work across multiple teams within the agile organization and proactively engaging agile squads to build capabilities where needed most. Analyze the organization’s technological infrastructure to provide recommendations to increase the effectiveness of software programs. Train and mentor agile teams, leaders and executives within the organization to leverage agile principles, practices and frameworks to deliver high value business capabilities. Serve as a subject matter expert on scaling agile development and work to transform an entire portfolio by observing, evaluating, and implementing changes to solve organizational and cultural impediments. Embrace servant leadership and display behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with being agile. Identify opportunities for continuous improvements and influences change at all organizational levels.

Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving agile development. Experience specified must include 5 years’ experience with each of the following: coaching leadership and teams to form productive relationships; coaching Agile techniques including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming and Scaled Agile Framework; applying agile principles outside technology solution development to drive business agility; facilitating organizational planning workshops; and identifying team issues and facilitating solutions. Telecommuting is permitted. Can reside anywhere in the United States. Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) business hours and attend ad hoc meetings at the Corporate Office in Johnston, Rhode Island at a minimum of 1 time per quarter.
