Responsibilities

• Process jobs in accordance with deadlines.
• Monitor all jobs to ensure adherence to planned progress by maintaining proactive communications with all supply chain partners
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures as this will give specific shipment instruction information.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that they are aware of shipment statuses at all times.
• Timely preparation and transmission of customer reports.
• Ensuring a high standard of TMS data processing in terms of both accuracy and completeness.
• Support the company in obtaining and developing new business.
• Contribution to profits through obtaining best value prices with suppliers; ensuring freight transactions are processed within budget.
• Research best possible airfreight option taking into consideration service levels and competitive rates depending on when the consignee expects the shipment to arrive at destination. Raise all export documentation taking into consideration local and international regulations and arrange shipment from origin to destination.
• Enter export shipment into the AEP II system through Azyra ensuring 100% accuracy.
• Develop good customer / supplier / staff relationships by ensuring all calls are answered.
• Communicate and listen effectively while having a positive approach to situation.
• Demonstrate helpfulness whilst behaving in a professional and confident manner.
• Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers when needed.
• Competitively quote after exhausting all options.
