We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Consultant – Data-driven Consulting!

This role is part of the People Analytics group offering consulting services to clients around the globe. As a member of this team and Aon’s broader Human Capital Solutions business, you will help empower results for our clients, some of the world’s most innovative organizations, by articulating compelling and engaging data-driven stories. You will have direct involvement in and leadership of client engagements, support the business development process, and contribute to building intellectual property.

What your day will look like:
- Leading teams of consultants to deliver scalable workforce consulting services based on Aon’s proprietary and market-leading human capital datasets.
- Building a diverse, engaged team and building that team’s analytical and consulting skillsets through participatory learning and direct coaching.
- Using data science or econometric techniques to solve practical business problems, then scaling the delivery of those techniques to Aon’s wide-ranging client base.
- Clearly communicating complex findings to C-suite audiences.
- Connecting with colleagues across Aon to deliver integrated, growth-focused solutions.
- Executing engagements within projects scope and budget.
- Delivering value-added advice to Aon’s business clients while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Training colleagues on data privacy rules and protecting competitive markets by making sure all analysis complies with relevant anti-trust standards.
- Assisting in developing proposals and closing sales.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in data-driven consulting or in an industry role applying data science techniques to solve business problems.
- Proven ability to communicate analytical advice in a clear manner to executive stakeholders and customers.
- Proactive, organized, and detail oriented; able to ensure rigor and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Applied Statistics, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or related field.
- Experience in using SQL to query large and complex datasets
- Proficient in common open-source scripting languages commonly used in data science, for example, Python and R
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted infrastructure

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
