In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Leads a team of 5 direct reports, directors of Brand Marketing and Customer Engagement Strategy
Is accountable for in-line performance and launches in the Vaccines Portfolio in Emerging Markets
Systematically identifies, evaluates, funds and executes incremental growth opportunities
Leverages Emerging Markets scale to execute locally and influence globally implementing the glocal operating model
Develops and drives revenue and opex forecast of brands, ensuring the realization of revenue and profitability targets
Constructively challenge country and regional forecasts and tactical plans to meet targets
Designs and drives an integrated category strategy across brands
Develops Category specific capabilities in EM, such as patient advocacy, policy, tendering, digital multi-channel marketing / customer engagement in collaboration with functional leads
Position reports to the Emerging Markets Group Lead Vaccines & Internal Medicine
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Brand Marketing Leads and Specialist Engagement Strategy Lead across the region. Creates diverse talent pipeline and upskills commercial capabilities.
Marketing Team lead will work closely with the EM Vaccines cross-functional team, RTALs, priority countries as well as the Vaccines Global Team, applying the Glocal operating model.
Drives innovation and Bold Moves specifically ensuring affordability and access plans, leveraging digital technologies to enable and enhance innovative go-to-market models
Forecast Group performance in the Emerging Markets and track progress in partnership with country and regional leadership
Escalates needs for budget re-allocations / incremental investment requests to the EM Group Lead Vaccines
Accountable of product launches across Emerging Market (e.g., drive product strategies development, forecast revenue and Opex, drive launch preparation and readiness across region)
Drives investment in brands and projects that have highest ROI
Ensures excellence in execution of Group Strategies and Tactics across the emerging market regions
Builds EM strategies and portfolio management plans, ensures execution of commercial strategy/tactics to achieve target KPIs for brands that maximize portfolio and drive growth across the emerging markets.
Maximize inline brands by defending and maintaining market share across the region. Leverage synergies and drive standardization across regions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong marketing and commercial expertise, launch experience, and a demonstrable ability to build and execute strategies and initiatives that maximize brand value in the Emerging Markets.
The candidate should have a proven track record of team leadership, working in a matrix team environment, with multiple country, marketing, and cross-functional partners.
Accountable for the development, update, and execution of detailed/actionable plans in Emerging Markets, that incorporate market development efforts.
Oversee development and implementation of plans across priority EM markets. Monitor and ensure activation, execution of key milestones and needed updates to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Capture and share insights for Global Group category and brand strategy/ positioning.
Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines as appropriate, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree required, MBA is preferred
15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
13 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
10 years of relevant experience with a PhD/PharmD
Country Operations Experience preferred (BU Head or P&L accountability equivalent role)
Demonstrated successful track record in managing virtual teams and matrix
Broad knowledge and experience of the relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical environment
Commercial/portfolio management experience, including accountability for revenues/operating expenses (P&L), asset allocation, value and cost driver decisions.
Strong people management experience
