How you’ll make an impact:
The Senior Endpoint Engineer will design, build and implement provisioning and management workflows for endpoints running macOS, Windows and Linux. This position will have primary responsibilities in the macOS environment and will collaborate with and function as backup for the primary Windows engineer. A successful candidate will need strong macOS engineering skills and good familiarity with Windows management methods.

The engineer will work with Desktop Support Technicians to investigate engineering issues and provide resolutions. The Endpoint Engineering Team is responsible for ensuring endpoint compliance for OS versions, application versions, security posture and EDR/RMM. The team will work with other technology teams to develop endpoint integrations with identity, network, security and other infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and implement endpoint provisioning workflows across operating systems
• Design, develop, and implement management controls for enforcing application and OS version control across endpoints
• Implement configuration management for security posture on endpoints
• Build automated and self-service application deployment workflows
• Develop and implement a modern SSO workflow integrating macOS with an identity provider via Jamf Connect or other identity management framework
• Develop, implement and maintain MDM configurations for corporate and BYOD mobile devices
• Design and implement break-fix tools for use by end users and help desk technicians
• Collaborate within the Endpoint Engineering team to identify best in class tools for adoption
• Collaborate with other infrastructure engineering teams to develop best in class integrated corporate infrastructure

What you’ll need:

• A strong desire to build best in class solutions and cultivate a culture of aggressive delivery and operational excellence
• Commitment to active collaboration and teamwork
• Deep experience with MDM platforms, particularly Jamf and Intune
• Experience and familiarity with SSO integration across applications and operating systems
• Familiarity with principles of PKI and certificate deployment
• Jamf Pro 300 certification, Jamf 400 preferred
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Ability to script with bash required, powershell strongly preferred, Python, Swift preferred
• Familiarity with Agile practices and scrum project management framework preferred
• Proven track record of efficient project management and delivery with aggressive deadlines
• Dedication to responsiveness and willingness to respond to emergent issues off hours
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to write clear, concise documentation
• Ability and willingness to provide technical and procedural leadership and mentorship to junior team members, and members of the technical service organization
• A customer-first mentality, prioritizing the experience of people using our products and services
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $130,000 to $170,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
