Job description
This role will support the introduction of new utility equipment to the Zoetis Tullamore site. The primary function of this role is to have oversight of system installation, commissioning and support validation activity where required. The engineer will be involved in the assessment of new equipment and the identification of calibration and maintenance requirements, drafting of operatiuonal SOPs and maintenance plans. The engineer will work closely with the quality and validation departments to ensure new systems comply with user and regulatory requirements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
- Co-ordination of outside service contractors and ensuring that they comply with GMP and safety regulations on site.
- Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
- Completion of change control activities to enure utilities are continuously improved.
- Technical review of equipment drawings and P&IDs.
- Completion of deviations on utilities including impact assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective action determination.
- Using lean and continuous improvement techniques you will be tasked with cost saving activities across the facilities.
- Generation, approval and control of engineering documentation.
- Comply with and support EHS activities on site.

Directly reports to the Engineering Lead
Strong working relationship with key members of the Facility Expansion Project Team
Works within the current engineering department and may support the existing manufautring process and activities as required.
Good communication to all levels of staff.
