Job Description To provide high level Technical & Engineering expertise in supporting of metrology and production line for class III implantable products, processes and associated equipmentKey Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to operations team in metrology related issues. Process and implement new or change work order requests for assets, PM, calibration and EWO. Perform ad-hoc WO intervention for unscheduled maintenance and calibration. Maintain metrology system for all assets, PM schedules, job plans and routes.
- Liaise with vendors for calibration/FAI capabilities and requests. Assist and support calibration assignment and scheduling with vendors and custodians.
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is well maintained, equipment down time is minimized, equipment utilization is optimized and appropriate safety procedures are carried out.
- Review and generate metrology reports for updates and tracking. Ensure no overdue calibration and PM.
- Lead and drives Lean, Six Sigma, Business Excellent projects to minimize waste, reduce product defects, cost reductions and equipment process enhancement.
- Evaluate and assist in the equipment feasibility study, process development and equipment validation and revalidation activities.
- Ensure that technicians are trained and proficiently supporting manufacturing according to updated SOPs and adhere to GMP, GDP and safety requirements.
- Other incidental duties
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in in Engineering or Scientific field , 4 years years experience of experience including either industry or industry/education Required
Additional Skills:
- Strong technical background with exposure to equipment preventive and predictive maintenance activities, equipment enhancement and troubleshooting.
- Experience in project management, SPC, Lean and Six Sigma Principles
- Good understanding in calibration principles and standards such ISO/IEC 17025:2005
- Must be organized, have good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proactive, initiative and assertive
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Well verse in Microsoft office and applications (e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
