JOB SUMMARY


The Senior Manager, Revenue Management and Reservations Product Support Analysis focuses on systems performance monitoring of Marriott International’s proprietary yield management system called One Yield and systems execution for all hotels across several key metrics; providing analysis for areas such as, but not limited to, One Yield Unconstrained Forecast Error, One Yield Constrained Forecast Error, One Yield Retail Pricing Optimizer pricing direction and adoption metrics, One Yield Inventory and Adoption metrics, Empower Reservation Application, and Enhanced Reservation Solution Upsell. Provides in-depth analysis on factors impacting systems performance and adoption. Plays a key role in Revenue Management and Reservations Product initiatives by participating in the process development, identifying metrics to measure pre- and post-launch, testing, sharing learnings/insights and identifying possible implications to the Leadership team. Provides specific systems functionality and business context for the data requested of the group; and prioritizes workflow during times of competing demands. Develops exception reporting to identify and highlight hotels / systems applications requiring additional support. This resource has responsibility for the refinement of analytical tools that support systems performance, as well as assisting leadership with the execution of any new enhancements implemented in any hotels globally. The Senior Manager collaborates with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, Vice President Revenue Management Systems Strategy, Senior Directors, Continent Support Directors, and other discipline leads.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (finance, operations research, economics, mathematics, statistics, etc.) and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance; OR
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Revenue Management or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
  • Proficient in Tableau, Excel, SAS and basic knowledge of Python software
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working with considerable independence and decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and identify areas of opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well-organized manner to diverse audiences

Education and Experience Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Knowledge of Revenue Management philosophies and willingness to learn Marriott’s Revenue Management systems to include One Yield, Total Yield, and High Performance Pricing (HPP)
  • Experience managing a high performing team
  • Demonstrates self-confidence and capable of building credibility among peers, stakeholders and senior management

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

  • Provide lead analysis support to requests from Revenue Management and Reservations Product leadership team members related to systems performance and adoption metrics
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results and provide strategic direction and mitigating advice for solution.
  • Prepares presentations as requested to communicate results of analysis completed and recommended actions.
  • Partners with Revenue Management Field Support and Market-based organizations as needed to improve systems performance and adoption
  • Acts as the liaison to the Operations Research and Analysis teams for data requests on behalf of the Revenue Management and Reservations Product (RMRP) team.
  • Represent RMRP team in various calls and meetings as requested by leadership.
  • Manages the flow of questions and directs questions.
  • Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.
  • Complies with Federal and State laws applying to procedures.

Supporting Operations

  • Works with team to put sustainable work processes and systems in place that support the execution of the strategy.
  • Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Represents team in resolving situations.
  • Maintains and manages inventory and service operations.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $185,551.00 annually.

New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $113,393.00 to $204,107.00 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
