We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced Sr. Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Specialist. Our perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3 years prior marketing experience working for an engineering, architecture, or construction company.
This position requires 40 hours/week in our Tempe office and is responsible for leading our marketing and proposal efforts, maintaining our social media platforms to support our marketing and branding strategies. We are seeking candidates who possess above average technical, design, communication, and organizational skills and can manage our proposal process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proposals, SOQ, Presentations (75%)
- Lead all aspects of proposal and SOQ preparation and delivery including the development and collection of standard materials, writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly and/or electronic submittal
· Work with Engineers and Project Managers and coordinate responses between relevant internal departments to develop message and content for proposals
- Complete technical tasks such as creating graphics, outlines, designing graphic layout templates, proofreading, preparing review drafts and final editions
- Oversee all marketing activities
Marketing Promotions, Social Media, Website (25%)
- Lead in the production of marketing presentations
- Maintain all social media platforms including company website
- Develop communications campaign calendar with ideas for e-mail blasts: project news, employee promotions, thought leadership, trade show conferences. Write and assist with developing message and content
- Manage targeted mailing lists for digital and print distribution utilizing support staff
- Order marketing materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering, construction, architecture, or similar industry
- Must have above average experience with executing competitive RFP/RFQ proposals
- Above-average to expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Above-average proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Have a passion for creating high-quality finished products
- Creative thinker/problem-solver
- Works well under pressure to meet deadlines
