Avista is a dynamic disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families. We have 3 network teams in Blanchardstown, Blakestown & Cabra. This post is being recruited for the Children’s Disability Network Team: Blakestown , the candidate may be required to work across these 3 teams if and when the need arises. You will be joining dynamic, family centred, interdisciplinary teams with excellent access to supervision and support.. The successful candidates will required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. The candidates will work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

Essential Criteria:

• A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Occupational Therapy qualification

• At least 3 years post qualification experience

• Confirmation of CORU Registration

• Full Clean Driving Licence with use of a car

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working with Children and Young People with complex disabilities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills. In addition they should possess good planning, organisation and effective time management skills together with the ability to work on their own initiative.

• Applicants should possess Level 2 Behavioural Competencies of Avista Competency Framework which can be found attached underneath the Job Description on our website
