The Senior Outreach and Pathway Coordinator is responsible for program planning and development, student advising, outreach coordination and outreach program delivery, representing the DGSOM professionally at conferences and institutions of higher education and ensuring compliance with all grant deadlines and deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, delivery and operations of all pre-medical pathway programs, seminars, workshops, special events, conferences and activities conducted by the Office of Outreach and Pathway Programs as a part of the Office of Admissions. As our Senior Coordinator, you will also serve as a key advisor for pre-medical students regarding appropriate DGSOM pathway programs to fit student needs and will actively be involved in multi-institutional program development, delivery and coordination with the diverse pathway programs offered across the organization. In addition, you will oversee the calendar events for pathway programs offered directly by the office and will manage comprehensive program arrangements, including budgeting, securing guest speakers, managing student social activities, meals, and field trips, arranging technology support, writing official communications, managing website, social media, and promotional materials, and organizing simulations and classes for pre-med scholars. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining expense budgets for the office and pathway programs, ensuring expenses stay with budget, and the financial processing and record keeping for all stipends and reimbursements for pre-med scholars. Salary Range: $50,700-$100,300 Annually

Qualifications

'- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to manage heavy phone and email volume. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Outstanding attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple projects and activities, follow through on assignments and meet deadlines with changing priorities and frequent interruptions. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and to effectively communicate and perform responsibilities with tact, sensitivity, diplomacy, and discretion. - Prioritize assignments in order to meet multiple deadlines and complete projects in an environment of heavy workload, competing objectives, and frequent interruptions. - Ability and willingness to maintain a positive attitude and contribute as an individual and as a team member to achieve the goals and mission of the unit. - Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the unit. - Ability to quickly learn complex procedures and processes needed to work within a large university system.
