Job description

A clinical laboratory located in Fort Lauderdale area is looking for a Senior Phlebotomist with managerial experience and open to 20% travelling (Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale and out-of-state locations if and when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in an oncology setting
• Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
• Coordinate phlebotomists schedules through resourceful and creative thinking
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues
• Ensures that staff follow applicable Policies and Procedures
• Ensures all equipment is operational and necessary supplies are available
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components
• Maintain compliance with SOP, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and regulatory guidelines
• Trains and provides leadership to the team
• Reports quality issues and procedural deviations to Quality Assurance and Management
• Travel to additional sites as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Phlebotomy certificate or license
• Experience and/or Specialized in phlebotomy training
• CPR certification
• Team lead/Supervisor experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
