Job description
The Senior Programmer / Analyst contributes to organizationalsuccess by designing, developing, debugging, and implementing complex software application
solutions using various object oriented programming languages and adhering to
full project lifecycle development processes. The incumbent will serve as the
IT software application technical resource to the functional line of business
owners and associated subject matter experts and will also serve as the
principal liaison and technical lead with external third party software
providers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. 7+ years’ experience in programming and gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications and performing quality assurance testing is strongly preferred. Education and working knowledge in systems analysis and quality assurance techniques, project management techniques, communication, training and presentation techniques.
Must possess strong software development and database design skills. Must demonstrate knowledge and expertise in various front end development tools (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML), back end development tools (e.g., C#, Java, Python), as well as database solutions (MS SQLServer, MySQL, MongoDB.) Familiarity with reporting and analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau.)
