Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson is a key driver in the acceleration and creation of a truly Cloud Native Radio Access Network. We own our solution from architecture definition to deployment in the customer network. In this role, you will be part of an engineering team with full ownership of a key aspect of our product.

You will work and collaborate with leading experts in Radio and Cloud Native technologies including 5G, Public & Private Clouds, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence!

You will work in Ericsson Network Management Department (ENM), our purpose is to provide industry leading Network Management products and capabilities to our customers enabling network operations and E2E automation.

You will

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Cloud Native components and microservices
• Be responsible for the deployment automation and configuration of Databases in Ericsson Network Management
• Adopt microservice cloud-native paradigms and continuous integration / continuous deployment models to realize the full potential of cloud-native solutions
• Work with the team driving improvements and efficiencies within our products and processes
• Work with architects on the evolution of technical solutions
• Focus on best-in-class product quality and customer experience

To be successful in the role you must have

• Proficiency in Python and Git
• Decent Knowledge of Bash
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Linux deployments (Red-Hat, or Suse or Centos is a plus)
• Growth mindset
• Have 5+ years of relevant Software Development experience
• Have a BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Be proficient in English, written and spoken

Preferred(bonus) / Not Required

• Kubernetes/Helm/Docker

• Knowledge of Go
• Knowledge of Postgres or Neo4j– deployment & configurations
• Experience with High Availability (eg Patroni for Postgres or causal cluster for Neo4j)
• Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible
