Long Haul Trucking / Premier 94 is currently seeking Service Writer.

This position reports to our Albertville, MN Shop.

Day shift

Every other Friday off, every other Saturday worked (every other week you have a 3 day weekend.)

Job Description:

The job of the service writer/shop counter is to perform the duties as listed below in a timely and efficient manner, as well as to assist the shop manager as needed and requested.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Premier 94 billing of cash and charge customers, owner operator invoices, and Long Haul Trucking invoices.
• Entering purchase orders into the accounting software program
• Complete open work orders in system
• Assist service writer answer phones and help customers while writing up order tickets and selling parts
• Help with set up and scheduling appointments with shop techs
• Collecting cash, write receipt slips, and input into the computer software program
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor
• Assist with annual and bi-annual parts inventory or as needed throughout the year
• Bill out repair orders, make sure services are updated in software program
• Sublet repair orders- bill to customers
• Keep working area clean and orderly

Skills:

An ideal candidate would posses these qualities:

• Truck shop knowledge/experience, service and parts required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to use the POS (point of sale) system
• Professionalism and friendliness while assisting customers

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two year degree preferred
• Cashier or customer service experience a plus
• Computer skills or ability to learn
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• TMT Software experience helpful
• 1 year of truck shop experience in any capacity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
