This position is a working supervisor in charge of the operation and minor maintenance of a large capacity wastewater treatment plant and five combined sewer retention basins. Oversees, participates, and gives direction in the proper procedures and methods to a small crew of wastewater treatment plant operators engaged in all phases of plant and retention basin operations. This position requires working rotating shifts covering weekends, evenings, and holidays. This position also requires working a relief shift.
