Due to the continuing expansion of services in Leinster we are currently seeking to recruit people for social care workers for our services in Children Residential Homes in Kildare

Attuned Programmes Ireland is a company responding to meet the needs of vulnerable young people with complex case histories, through community registered residential and aftercare supports and services.

The ideal candidates will be highly motivated and have an interest in playing an active role in service development, while working within a structured and supportive team.

General Job Description:

The role is to support young people in developing self-care and independent living skills while helping them to develop the capacity and opportunity to eventually live an independent life in the community.

Requirements:

• Candidates for Social Care Workers must have a relevant qualification, at a minimum of a three-year QQI level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies and Professional Social Care or Social Care Practice.
• The following degree level 7 minimum equivalences may be considered social work, youth and community, psychology, child and adolescent psychotherapy, nursing)
• Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
• This post is subject to Garda clearance.
• A full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Candidates must also have a deep commitment to children and young peoples’ rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic and at times challenging environment.
