Your Team & Role

As a Specialist, Tech Risk Management on the Operational Risk – Exceptions Lifecycle Management and Governance team, you will work closely with stakeholders to enhance the governance of our operational risk exceptions management . You will play a key role in implementing technology to support exceptions management and help ensure a smooth transition to its usage. In addition to applied experience , you will use your problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills to promote risk culture across the organization.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

• Assist in implementation of the GT operational risk exceptions management governance process including conducting aggregation analysis and ensuring accurate risk reporting across GT
• Optimize GT exceptions and risk management processes and help promote a culture of risk awareness and mitigation
• Execute and oversee the exceptions governance process, working to identify, assess, aggregate, report, and escalate exceptions and associated risks across GT
• Utilize your knowledge of relevant and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for providing input to the team while encouraging a culture of learning and innovation in daily activities
• Tackle complex problems that require a thorough analysis of various factors and data, bringing your expertise to help develop effective solutions.
  

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or experience in related fields
• Leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
• Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
• Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills

Applied experience with several of the following :

• Foundational background in risk management, with an understanding of the principles and practices associated with the identification management, and monitoring of risks
• Experience working through change, ability to apply cultural considerations in analysis

Preferred qualifications:

CISSP, CRISC, CISA, and CISM preferred certifications

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $93,200.00 to $138,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
