Description: Primary Skills :

• Test Analyst will be working on multiple goals/objectives to drive quality and testing execution for customers in the BFSI Segments. The Primary responsibilities and tasks will include:

• 5 years of experience in automating various GUI/non-GUI based applications using Selenium WebDriver and Java language

• Experience in at least one project implementing BDD (behaviour driven development) using Cucumber/Jbehave and CI (continuous integration) using Jenkins.

• Experience in GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins pipelines

• Experience in testing backend application components like SQLServer, Oracle database, middleware message queues(IBM MQ)

• Extensive experience in test automation framework design, development and enhancement for at least 2 projects.

• Hands-on Experience in writing SQL queries

• Must have hand-on experience in writing scenarios and testcases from requirements & user stories

• Well versed with data-driven Test Automation using MS Excel / XML / Database driven Tests

• Understand data structure, data interfaces and how data flows and transforms from source systems to the downstream systems

• Understand the functionality + Technology and able to adopt into a techno-functional automation tester role

• Excellent communication skills – within and outside of the organization, across teams, with customers – both horizontally and vertically, is important.

• A good team player and ready to take up additional responsibilities when required.

Secondary Skills List

• Experience in working with global delivery models, leveraging cross location distributed teams

• Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques

• Experience in Test Management Tools like HP ALM / JIRA.

• Exposure to popular test models in the market - Agile, V-Model, Waterfall approach

Responsibilities

• Understand customer testing needs - current processes as well as future requirements around testing

• Is responsible for test scenarios & test cases formulation and test data preparation

• Is responsible for all test automation related activities right from test automation framework design, development, implementation + automation planning & execution

• Is responsible for tracking Defect triage & closure

• Is technically responsible for all the Testing performed by the Testing Organization

• Is responsible for the overall Quality of deliverables across all parameters, both functional and non-functional including performance, security, usability, etc.

• Is responsible for ensuring the Test Frameworks & methodologies as recommended by Test Architect / Test Manager is implemented in the project
