Sr Customer Quality Specialist
Cleveland-Cliffs Tubular Components has an immediate opportunity for a Sr Customer Quality Specialist at our Walbridge, OH Tubular Components location. The position manages quality relationships with customers, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This role interacts with all levels of the organization.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Manages the quality relationship with Tier one automotive customers and others to ensure that they receive high-quality products and services.
- Conduct regular audits of internal quality systems, identifies and resolves quality issues and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with IATF standards, including process control, inspection and testing procedures.
- Provides support to internal departments in quality issues resolution and risk mitigation.
- Maintain a robust customer feedback and complaint handling process to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
- Facilitate the use of AIAG Core tools and other problem-solving methodologies to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and track customer satisfaction.
- Audits of Processes and Products
- Occasional travel is required.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (prefer ASQ Quality Auditor and Engineer certification)
- Compentency in AIAG Core tools and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D. Proficient in Control Plans and FMEAS.
- Working knowledge of Tube Mills preferred.
- Working knowledge of IATF standards and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication with customers, suppliers and employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and implement process improvements
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- 5 years experience in Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with Tier one automotive customers is highly preferred.
