Based in Tustin CA, (hybrid remote - in office 2-3x a week) the Sr. Manager, People Business Partner will lead the people efforts and HR strategies in supporting the business. This is a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where flexing to demands is critical. The successful incumbent will be a strategic partner to the leadership team and support team members. This position reports to the VP of People Strategies and Operation with indirect reporting to the location President. As a forward-looking HR professional supporting this dynamic organization, you will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR Services such as: Strategy Development, Organization Design, Talent & Performance Management, Organization & People Effectiveness, Change & Transition Management and Functional HR Support and Integration. This role reports to the Vice President, People Strategy & Operations.
- Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative strategies to anticipate and assess emerging business, organization, or people trends and identify and implement the appropriate Human Resource solutions.
- Design and execute strategies to increase organization, team, and individual performance to improve the business’s capabilities to deliver against its goals.
- Provide expertise in leadership and executive team development, organization, and people effectiveness, and meeting design/facilitation with a bias toward building client capabilities.
- Active participant in driving employee engagement and culture, emphasizing embedding and executing Diversity & Inclusion strategies.
- Leads core HR annual programs, including but not limited to objective setting, performance evaluations, compensation planning, talent assessment, and succession planning.
- Partners with People Team in Staffing, Organization Development, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Reward, and Learning and Development.
- Serving as the employee advocate by building strong, collaborative relationships with employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with HR functional partners to execute human resources strategies to enable business objectives and support current needs and future business growth.
- Execute the Talent Management process to identify current and forecasted talent needs and, in partnership with other site and segment partners, develop action plans to mitigate associated risk and improve confidence in future successor readiness to enable business objectives.
- Deliver HR services to clients, resulting in seamless contact to the broader People Team organization and ensuring successful integration of functional partner initiatives and expertise.
- Maintain a practical level of business literacy to provide a consultative approach to the delivery of HR services. Leverage HR/business skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in human resources, organization development, training, and/or related talent planning field.
- Proven experience supporting the coporate functions of Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, Sales, Branding & Marketing, Communications, Commercial Operations, Legal, etc.
- Must be able to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/business challenges.
- Must be an authentic thought partner with confidence and courage to push boundaries in a changing environment.
- Proven consulting and change management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with strategic culture and employee engagement initiatives. Proven knowledge of HR industry practices.
- Demonstrated strong integration and strategic planning skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results.
- Proven ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge organizational thinking.
- Prior experience supporting an Engineering industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience.

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $118,100.00–$180,200.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
