Job description
The Sr Lead, AI Governance role is in the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence and is primarily responsible for shaping and managing the organization's enterprise AI end-to-end DevSecOps experience and governance capabilities, so to effectively support our data scientists, business units and ultimately our clients. This role actively engages with enterprise risk and privacy stakeholders as well as data and technology partners, including external vendors, among others. The role will also manage AI policies and solutions pertaining to model explainability and fairness, among others. As a recognized master in data quality and governance, this job uses a high level knowledge of the end-to-end master data processes and flows to design and implement master data management solutions in order to maintain a common, firm-wide data standard.

- Drives the implementation of tools and processes to maintain firm-wide AI experience and standards, leveraging governance routines to drive consistency and areas for improvement.
Strengthens the organization's AI governance capabilities to ensure that high quality exists throughout the complete DevSecOps framework and model development lifecycle and that the right controls are implemented.
Ensures business process, system support and AI governance through coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent flows to business and stakeholders.
Works with stakeholders to standardize required artifacts, templates, and processes.
Oversees the development of reports and dashboards around AI models and accelerators to identify key business metrics, trends and analytical needs, and optimizes dashboard reporting for operations and management to enable data driven decision making.
Develops and monitors quality metrics, executes quality audits and advises on process improvements in relation to strengthening the AI DevSecOps framework and processes across the enterprise, as internal and external environmental factors change.
Provides leadership and key stakeholders with quantitative measures, qualitative observations, and recommendations on major themes and trends.
Identifies and articulates key findings and opportunities and make recommendations to senior leadership

5+ years of experience delivering innovative Data or AI/ML solutions

Experience with data science, advanced analytics and/or actuarial sciences

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or other quantitative field

- Demonstrated understanding of privacy, data, and model governance activities, including development & oversight processes.
- Proven track record of strong partnerships with engineering and other cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or other quantitative field
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
