Applicant must possess the following:

• A Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent professional qualification and at least one year post qualification experience in Intellectual Disability
• Candidates must be registered with CORU at time of application
• Understanding of the needs of children with intellectual disability
• Experienced in working in a multidisciplinary environment/team
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:

• To work as part of the Children’s Disability Team to provide therapeutic service to children and young people(0-18 Years) with a range of complex needs arising from a disability
• Work as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team
• To provide an occupational therapy service including assessment, intervention, programme planning, monitoring, consultation and/or onward referral services, as appropriate.
• To prioritise together with the Manager in order to optimise the quality, efficacy and equity of the service provided.
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports and discharge summaries in accordance with local services and professional standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €37,522.00-€54,569.00 per year
