Operations Manager:

Beach Bum Tanning is the leader in the Tanning & Spa Industry with a fast-growing chain in New York, New Jersey, CT, Virginia and West Virginia. We are looking for outgoing, energetic, positive sales people to represent our brand, provide our clients with exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated to achieve customer client-based goals and lead our staff to their full potential.

Description:

As an Operations Manager, you will be the most critical link in ensuring that our guests have a rewarding experience each time they enter our business. You’ll become a part of a dynamic selling environment where your positive attitude and engaging personality will make you an important part of our team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to demonstrating outstanding Guest Service skills, leading by example, meeting daily selling standards, scheduling, inventory control, providing product knowledge to our guests and working as part of a team to meet individual, and store objectives. _ Training might be completed at our Nanuet location. Yonkers Beach Bum opening mid November._

Qualifications and Skills:

• Sales leadership and sales background required.
• Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a learning environment.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of previous sales experience required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of management or supervision experience required, including overseeing all aspects of the managing of staff including hiring, training, disciplinary action, termination, coaching and supporting.
• Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations. Ability to meet or exceed sales and previously set projections for store goals.
• Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance of the store image and first impressions.
• Flexibility & dependability with schedules, including days, nights and weekends. Full time commitment is required. On call for store obstacles at all time.
• Strong computer skills required with the knowledge and proficiency in MS office programs including Word & Excel.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and other management.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures.
• Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities. Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
