QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed in weight room as well as academically.
  • Ability to work effectively with head coaches of each sport.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Strength coaching experience.
  • Strength & Conditioning Certification

DESIRABLE:

  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Experience as a student-athlete.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Organize and plan strength training sessions in coordination with head coaches of each sport.
  • Effectively document the progress of student-athlete strength & conditioning activities; setting appropriate goals.
  • Assist head coaches with strength & conditioning activities.
