Due to a continued growth within our Transportation Group, a new opening is available in our Monroe, Michigan operation for a Mid to Senior Level Structural Engineer. The best fit candidate should be able to complete design computation in accordance with current building code requirements.
Key Responsibilitties
- Design and plan development of residential, industrial, and commercial buildings and structures.
- Ensure projects are up to the clients standards.
- Projects must comply with applicable codes and regulations.
- Project assignments will be primarily in Ohio, West Virginia, and Michigan with additional out of state assignments possible.
- Candidate will be assigned to our Transportation Group,
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- AutoCAD / Microstation experience.
- Must be able to positively communicate & coordinate with team members!
- Knowledge of design of steel, concrete and timber.
- Understanding and experience of structural software such as RISA or STAAD is preferred.
