Cross Lanes YMCA is currently seeking caring and energetic role models to work at our 2023 Summer Day Camp as Camp Counselors and Shuttle Drivers! This Summer Camp season will run from May 30th to August 11th.

The summer day camp team will provide high quality indoor and outdoor educational and recreational activities for children ages 6-12 years old and will also be responsible for the general safety, development, growth, and achievement of the children in their group. Daily activities include arts and crafts, sports and recreation, science and nature, field trips, and swimming. This is a great experience for college students studying education or recreation!

Applicants must…

• be at least 18 years of age (21 to drive shuttle)
• have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• submit to a drug screening upon hire
• consent to fingerprinting, a criminal records check, driver’s license check, protective service record check, and a sex offender registry check.
• prior experience working with children highly preferred

Pay: $12.00 - $14.50 per hour
