The Wraparound Stabilization Services (WSS) Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the administration and supervision of WSS staff. This individual will also be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact with the local referring agency contract office regarding implementation and operations of the program while maintaining availability to respond to client and therapist crisis as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, lead, develop, and train all direct reports within the program
- Oversee the comprehensive case management process from intake to case closure to ensure adherence to the components of the program
- Provide weekly individual and/or team supervision to staff and interns to discuss care statuses and address any concerns or issues while ensuring quality assessments, service planning, and delivery are all in accordance with program expectations
- Meet regularly with the Branch Director
- Build a cohesive team and maintain positive employee morale
- Oversee the case management platform system to include regular monitoring and auditing, and make the appropriate recommendations as needed
- Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through employee evaluations, conference request, time sheets, and reimbursement vouchers
- Oversee the operations of the employee selection, hiring, training, disciplinary action, and orientation processes in accordance with agency expectations
- Provide consultation and other applicable services to ensure client eligibility timeframes are met in compliance with program expectations
- Consult with the VP of National Refugee &Immigrant Family Services, National Wraparound Coordinator, management staff, and the therapist on client issues and community safety, while also ensuring each client intervention plan addresses safety issues
- Ensure therapists provide a range of clinical, concrete, and advocacy services consistent with the program model and the individual values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances and culture
- Ensure that therapists utilize the Therapeutic and Intervention Components in their work with clients
- Ensure all clinical documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner;
- Monitor model fidelity and program outcome data
- Meet the standard for ongoing client contact requirements, while also ensuring compliance with referring agency contract requirements
- Review, revise, and approve all documents sent to external parties
- Meet contract guidelines for submission of billing, invoices, and service reports
- Ensure all case recording expectations satisfy state, licensing and contract requirements, agency requirements, and COA standards
- Assist therapists with analyzing and interpreting performance data
- Attend staff meetings, wraparound stand-up meetings, and bi-weekly contract meetings to ensure effective and efficient service coordination
- Manage vacation schedules to ensure adequate coverage and availability of services
- Maintain, enhance, and develop positive relationships with referral sources, community agencies, and community progressions
- Serve as a back-up to therapists, as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored donor engagement event.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MSW or Master’s level degree in Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college
- At least four (4) years of experience working in a child and family welfare agency
- At least one (1) year of experience supervising others and a team
- Must have an ability to provide and/or obtain professional licensure or registration in the state of the work location, if applicable by state
- Bilingual in Spanish/English required if responsible for a caseload or has direct contact with clients
- Demonstrated experience working with children and families from diverse cultures with sensitivity to cultural differences and norms
- Demonstrate excellent clinical, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of state, community, and agency resources
- Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions
- Must possess or are eligible to obtain the respective Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clearance approval
- Active motor vehicle license and a reliable automobile with adequate insurance coverage
- Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
- Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Cultural Diversity Commitment.
